Across
between Little Louie Vega & Eric Morillo,
Jerry’s styles vary from the soulful garage sounds to the harder
disco grooves. Producing records on his own label since 1996, his
first
release brought him recognition and quickly brought forth an
urge to shop his talents to labels in NYC. Coming across one of Jerry’s
demos which was refused by a reputable label, Douglas instantly saw
the genius and talent of this producer and quickly called him in.
The result was an EP entitled “3 elements” which was
being hammered by Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries, Master Kev and
many others and is still sought after today. This ultimately led
to a slew of remixes and EP’s under Waako Records like “You
don’t tell me anymore”, “Contrabalas EP” and
furthermore the start of his label FTL music through Waako Records.
FTL
music is quickly getting noticed for Jerry’s Latin All
Star EP’s.The latin All star part 3 is already getting banged
on CDR by DJ Disciple, Master Kev, and many others. His Disco sound
will soon have a new release on Episode /Waako Records. A pumpin’ tune
entitled “Dance”.
Jerry’s productions are being
sought after by Henry Street, Catch 22, and next move. His DJ skills
are up to par. Already considered by many to be one of the hottest
Djs in NYC.
