STONEBRIDGE
/ JJ / STONEYBOY MUSIC
The man needs no introduction. His name has been synonymous with
dance and house since the late 80s and early nineties with remixed
hits like Robin S’s “Show
me Love”, Sound Factory's “Understand This Groove”,
Rozalla “I
Love Music”. Chrissie Ward “Right & Exact”,
INDO “R U Sleepin” and Hannah Jones “No One Can
Love you”. After years of remixing, StoneBridge reinvented himself
as a DJ and Producer.
In
1997 he began a manic DJ tour across the US and Europe and decided
to start up a New York based label, Stoney Boy Music
Under the Waako Records Umbrella. This new label presented
a more club-based sound and reflected in his following productions;
Radical Playaz “The Hook”, Nightvision “Ready
For The Weekend” and StoneBridge “All Nite Long”.
Having done many remixes and CD compilations for Waako Records,
he has become the Waako records ambassador in Europe, directing
and finding new talent for Waako Records.
JJ
His label mate JJ produced the tracks “Get Up On The Dancefloor” and “Throw
Yo Head Up” as Disco Dude for Stoney Boy Music, both licensed
to most European territories and top 10 club records. JJ then uncovered
Nightvision’s “Ready
for The Weekend” (Stoneyboy)
followed by a string of high profile productions including Dahlia “On
The Radio” (Waako Records), Richelle “Hi-Energy” (Waako
Records) and JJ Presents “
Come To Me” (Waako Records). His remix skills are resurfacing
again under the Episode/Waako label. Having remixed Robbie Rivera’s
famed “There Some Disco Fans..”, “Bringing
it Down” and the soon to be released “The Bang”.
His Djing skills has taken him all over Europe while establishing
a residency in his hometown of Stockholm, Sweden.
